At your feet lies a vast beach; a resort of 250 rooms all located in bungalows. The bungalows are 8 small 2-storey buildings divided into two quarters within a nature reserve. They are small brightly coloured buildings with thatched roofing that blend well with the local beauty and ambience. The bungalows in the central quarter are the Ondas and Conchas, the garden bungalows are the Areias, Estrelas, Golfinhos, Cabalos and Peixes.


The Club Room is a large room in a quiet location to enjoy the magic of Brazil at an unbeatable price. The Family Club Room, located in the heart of the gardens or in the resort central bungalows, between forest and sea; let yourself be transported by the magic of the place.

Built in the local style with a thatched roof, it welcomes you for all your meals and has a wide selection of international dishes on offer. This restaurant is non-smoking. Tables sit 4 to 8 people and high chairs for babies are available.


With its intimate atmosphere of quiet refinement, sit-down service, and a magnificent setting which will transport you, this speciality restaurant is open in the evenings only for a delightful end to your day with family or friends. Included in your offer are a selection of refreshing drinks and sweet and savory snacks, so you don't have to worry about carrying your wallet around with you. Choose from a selection of sodas, cocktails with and without alcohol, water and local wines or spirits. Staff are on hand to make you a nice hot drink if you’re feeling a little chilly.

With supplement

Bottled and canned drinks can be brought from vending machines placed around some Resorts and/or the Club Med Boutique. These are not included in your offer as neither is champagne or wines from the à la carte menu. VSOP and XO spirits come at an additional cost as do quality drinks from a selection of super - premium brands.

Whether you're lounging by the pool, enjoying the boutique or dining in the restaurant, our well-equipped main bar can serve whatever beverage you desire. Cigar humidors and a wide variety of snacks are available at extra cost, and smokers are free to use the terrace.

Trancoso is 6 km from Club Med

Trancoso has preserved its authenticity, with a charming main square, a UNESCO heritage site, overlooking some of the finest beaches – Nativos, Coqueiros and Petra Grande are all nearby. The historic centre has preserved traces of its colonial history; it has colourful houses and a white church looking out over the ocean.

Travel time: a 15-minute drive

Arraial d’Ajuda is 8 km from Club Med

The town is perched on the clifftops, surrounded by the Mata Atlantica and numerous beaches – Praia Mucuge, Do Parracho, Piting and d’Ajuda …. It is renowned for its fountain, its church built in 1549 (one of Brazil’s first Catholic churches) and the charming Mucuge Street.

Porto Seguro is 45 km from Club Med

A very popular seaside resort with superb beaches. This is where the lambada comes from, and where Brazil was discovered, on 22 April 1500 by Pedro Alvares Cabral and his Portuguese expedition. There are many things of interest including the remains of Brazil’s first town; the cidade alta has national monument status, with 3 churches to visit. There are many beaches.

Vaccination against yellow fever is essential only in the Amazon region, even where there is no mandatory government required (at an approved centre).

Some parasitic or viral diseases are carried by mosquitoes; we recommend that you use insect repellent for your skin and clothing suitable for the tropics.

There is a risk of the major form of malaria (falciparum) which requires strict preventative measures such as chimio prophylaxis and repellents (in the Amazon region only).
