Club Med Review

A Fantastic Week! Thank you Club Med G for hosting our family of 4 (kids 13G and 11B) for a much needed 7 day vacation.

Highlights:
• GOs Quentin, Yona and Ryane were so great with the teens club! They created an inclusive group across languages, nationalities and interests. Can’t say enough about them and the wider kids club team. All great energy and vibes! They truly made for an amazing week for our kids.
• The remote feeling from the boat ride in and the property being on the quiet part of the island of Evia was so relaxing. Regardless if you are looking at the Sea or the Mountains you can day dream and relax anytime anywhere on the (larger than we had anticipated) property.
• Food, sport, activities all so good and well planned. A Club Med cornerstone, but nothing disappointed.
• Theme nights make you feel part of communities. The White Night specifically was elegant and energetic.
• Our family photo album will be a true memory. Shakira! WakaWaka!

For those who have been to other Club Meds:
• Pastry team was tops! They have white chocolate bread or at least the closest thing we have found to
• Not sure if it was 3rd week after seasonal opening, going during World Cup or something else, but night entertainment seemed to be less of a focus of this property.
• There are lots of different room locations, be informed on which one you choose before you go. We stayed in Olympe - had a balcony facing the sea and the views were amazing - however the rooms don’t make a great first impression - they were about half renovated - brand new bathroom, fresh paint, but dated flooring, curtains and bed side lamps that gave it a slightly used feel. AC was always on and a life saver after hot days in sun. Also for what it’s worth the shower water pressure was amazing!

For all:
• For non-EU folks, the airport lines can be long, so plan for 60-90 mins and bring food and water. Once on the bus, it is all smooth, but arrivals can be a longer day of travel and we got hungry after a morning flight from Heathrow.
• Snacks - there isn’t a store selling any food on site, so we took a taxi to town for some crisps, almonds, etc. Not many salty snacks at the property if that is your thing after a day in the sun. (Lots of olives and hummus as well as sweet treats on offer though!)
• The WiFi is a bit spotty as you move around the property and in some rooms. If you are at Club Med for the WiFi though, you have missed the plot (but full disclosure the best place to do a conference call is from the main reception lobby!).

Overall we are a family who have been to 5 other Club Meds, Beaches, Disney, Hilton all inclusive, etc and this was one of the best and just what we needed.

A Great Gateway with Greek - French atmosphere and a Beautiful location
not as much fun as it used to be - less attentive staff but stil a great vacation

Our stay at Club Med was absolutely incredible from start to finish! The resort is beautiful, the food was delicious, the activities were so much fun, and the entire atmosphere made our vacation unforgettable.

A special thank you to Natalia, who is from Argentina. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and her positive attitude truly made a difference in our experience.

We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!
