Kani Maldives

Everything was perfect, make my birthday extra special. The welcome note in the room, the birthday wishes I was so touched. Thank you. Definitely will be back.

We had an incredible stay at Club Med Kani.

What stayed with me most was the simplicity of the week. Swim, eat, read, repeat. Time with my child without the usual distractions—a kind of reset that feels both indulgent and grounding. You can be as busy or as relaxed as you want. Snorkelling trips offered 2x a day! and also right from the beach. It was like being in my own aquarium. Highly recommend the 'Sailing Armada'.

The marine life is truly incredible—very much the Maldives itself, and something we’ll remember for a long time.

The food was outstanding, with a great variety of cuisines—easily the best of any Club Med we’ve experienced. Huge bravo to the chef and team. Special thanks to Enez, and especially Ziyaau, who looked after us every day with such warmth.

Room service was impeccable—Ifshann kept everything spotless with thoughtful touches throughout.

Our son completed his PADI certification, and the dive centre was excellent—professional, reassuring, and clearly safety-focused (exactly why we chose Club Med). Thank you to Martin, Vanessa and Betty.

A special mention to Rae, who often joined us for meals and made the experience feel even more personal.

Staff were the essence of the club

Friendly and attentive from start to finish. Escorted onto island personally and given information by a representative.
Catering and serving staff were lead by ‘hands on deck’ supervisors leading from the front.
Perfect weather and water

Many activities are inclusive in price:
Twice daily guided snorkel tours by boat.
Excellent food quality and choice all included.
Wine beer and spirits including cocktails were free in the basic package.
Rooms were good.
Several excellent dining options all at waterfront or beach front locations

Many extra activities for a good value price.
Particularly scuba diving with full training available from excellent PADI instructors from Euro Divers.

We stayed at the resort with my six-year-old child. Initially, we had booked the most basic room. However, we were not satisfied with it—we didn’t like it, it felt too small, and it didn’t meet our expectations. Therefore, we upgraded to a superior room. We were very happy with our second room; both its layout and overall comfort made us feel much more satisfied.

The staff at the resort were very kind and friendly. I would especially like to thank all the staff at the Kids Club. I would also like to extend my special thanks to the family coordinator. All of the Kids Club staff were extremely kind, caring, and lovely. In general, most of the staff were very polite and helpful.

I would also like to thank Ms. Beste for taking care of us during our stay.

On the other hand, I found it quite insufficient that there was only one beach bar on the island. Especially if you are not staying close to the beach bar and prefer to use the beach near your room, it becomes quite difficult to get a drink. Additionally, since there were no beverages in the room minibars, having only one bar located in a single area of the island was a downside. I believe adding a few small or satellite bars in different parts of the island would significantly improve the experience.

Other than that, we did not experience any issues. We had a very pleasant holiday and truly enjoyed the famous Club Med parties. I would like to thank all the staff once again, especially the Kids Club team.
