A great family trip

Club Med is a renowned establishment that thrives in the hospitality department. Although the prices are expensive (and seem to be getting higher every year) we know for sure that our children are taken care of and happy. Special thanks to Maicon Jackson for slinging his drinks, Peppo and his team for making our kids very happy throughout the week and the entirety of the staff who were so kind. Paul from the reception was particularly nice and sweet. It was our first time in Opio and we will 100% be coming back.

Wonderful family atmosphere, excellent food and a special mention to Maicon Jackson

We had a very good stay overall at Club Med Opio Provence. The resort has a beautiful atmosphere, many activities and an excellent sports structure for families. The food was also surprisingly good for an all-inclusive resort, with a lot of variety and quality throughout the stay.

That said, there are some points that deserve attention. The rooms feel quite old, dark and in need of a general renovation. The bathroom shower area was also extremely slippery, which can be unsafe for guests of all ages.

Another important point is the language barrier. At times, non-French speaking guests felt somewhat excluded from activities and interactions, especially regarding communication in English. Club Med welcomes international guests, so improving inclusivity would make the experience even better.

Finally, we would like to especially recognize Maicon Jackson, the Brazilian bartender, who was truly one of the highlights of our stay.

Maicon is exceptionally charismatic, friendly and communicative. He creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere around him naturally and consistently makes guests feel comfortable and included. His positive energy genuinely stands out.

He is particularly wonderful with children and families. Kids absolutely adore him because he is patient, playful, attentive and always interacting with kindness and enthusiasm.

Even during busy moments, Maicon remained professional, energetic and attentive to everyone. Employees like him make a real difference in the Club Med experience, and we sincerely hope his work is recognized because he is a great asset to the team.
