Modification / cancelation of your stay required in case of: Closure of borders Closure / No opening of a Resort, due to regulations Covid Cancelation of a Tour Announcement of a confinement on the destination Quarantined territory or fourteen measures on the destination You can then postpone or cancel your stay without charge. In case of cancelation of this type, Club Med will contact you by phone or email to arrange an appointment with your Travel Expert Designer and propose the solution that best suits you. You can change, postpone or cancel your reservation. Guests can request a refund of their stay at no charge.
1. To allow you to book your next stay as serenely as possible, you will benefit from the conditions of modification free of charge until the day of your departure for any unexpected event related to COVID-19 that has important consequences on your stay or your transport to your destination. In order to prevent these situations, you will be offered a modification of your package if, at the time of your stay, you encounter one of the following cases: Closure/non-opening of your destination Resort due to COVID regulations Closure of the borders and/or airspace of the destination country Regional/national containment in the destination country or country of origin Entry restrictions in the destination country (quarantine imposed on arrival or fourteen measures requiring isolation) Restrictions imposed in your country of origin (quarantine return destination or fourteen measures requiring isolation) Restrictions in the destination country that would not allow us to deliver the essential Club Med experience (strict curfew, closure of restaurants, closure of ski lifts. ) Measures preventing any possibility of getting to the destination (flights passing through a country closing its borders for example) If you or one of your companions has a positive result in its COVID-19 test preventing its departure*, for stays in Resort only (not applicable for tours). Applicable for all our stays and tours. * In this case, a charge for the transport part may be applied if you did not subscribe to the Total Screen 2 insurance. Can I be reimbursed for my stay in case of COVID-19? We remind you that by booking a Club Med package, you benefit from the protection provided in articles L. 211-1 et seq. and articles R. 211-3 to R. 211-11 of the Tourist Code in particular the right to cancel the contract before the start of the trip or stay without paying a cancelation fee if exceptional and unavoidable circumstances, occurring at the place of destination or in the immediate vicinity of it, have significant consequences on the performance of the contract or on the transport of passengers to the place of destination. For more details, see our Terms of Sale. - I have taken out the Total Screen insurance (extra charge): In case of last minute cancelation related to the Covid-19 epidemic (positive test at Covid-19 of a member of the file less than 48h of departure, on proof), your stay can be, at your request, refunded by the insurance including the transport part.
