La Pointe aux Canonniers Mauritius

It’s the second time we’ve come to the resort and it’s difficult to describe the feeling after leaving. We would like to say a few thank you to some people in particular because they have made us feel like we were at home and they have really looked after us:
Thank you Amita. You have been truly amazing. You have allowed us not to worry about anything in our rooms. Your work has been excellent and you have been super sweet with us.

Thank you Veer for all the laughs we had with you and for keeping your professionalism at the same time.

Thank you Akmez for your patience and love with us. The experience in the shop has been amazing with you there. Well done in your first week!

Thank you to all the staff in the restaurants, in particular to Jaimie, Brandon, Ahmed and Vanessa, who looked after us incredibly well and for helping us with our poor French!

Thank you to Mahen, in the zen pool. You have been incredibly discreet but on top of everything at the same time.

Thank you to all the people at the bar, especially to Jason. Honestly guys, you are absolutely great. I’ve lost count how many Pineapple Express I had these days!

Thank you to the waterski team, in particular to Trishi. You have been incredibly patient despite us having been terrible doing what you most love!

Thank you to the kids club, to all of you in the petit, mini and baby club. All our kids have felt really loved by you. You work incredibly hard with them. I can’t thank you enough for giving us the time to enjoy the resort knowing our kids were having so much fun with you. Special mention to Akilesh, Shanonne, Gaël, Gracy, Axelle, Amel, Gregory, Lauryn and Sergio.

Thank you to the tennis instructors. My husband is coming home with a new passion thanks to you!

And finally, our best discovery, the star of the sailing team, Joe. There is not a better instructor than him. He taught us how to sail and, at the same time, he has been super sweet, polite and funny during all our stay. Thank you for all your smiles and interesting conversations. You have been the best, seriously.

And we would like to apologise for two things: 1. Not being able to name everyone. You all have been incredible with everything, including and especially everyone who works hard behind the scenes. You have anticipate to all our needs, all the time. 2. For how long and cheesy this comment is.

Our best Club Med Holiday to date!
Wonderful resort from the helpful, knowledgeable and attentive GO's, to expertise of the SPA team (best massage in ages!) and the excursion guide - wow she was the best!
With a wide selection of tasty food served throughout the day and evening to the comfortable well equipped rooms - what more could a first class holiday provide.

Excellent resort, highly recommend as it’s situated in one of the most beautiful locations, amazing service particularly Rishi who looked after our room and no request was too hard.

Amazing team & atmosphere, doesn't give the 4 star feeling, we always felt safe & always valued. Very clean, great and enthusiastic GO team. However only slighlt let down is that better food variety and quality is needed.

I was initially looking for a fitness-focused vacation, and I'm usually used to more luxurious hotels, so I wasn't sure this was the right place for me, but very quickly, the ambiance, and the team there just made me fall in love with the place! I ended up extending my stay and will definitely never go anywhere else in Mauritius in the future!! I ended up working out daily and doing a tonne of sports on top of that, while enjoying the beach and it wasn't hard to find healthy eating choices as well. I know that's not the typical profile or reason people go to club med, but it worked for me!
