5-Star Hospitality!

Club Med as usual is an excellent place for intergenerational trips. We had with us 2 senior citizens, 1 child and 2 adults and there was plenty to do that suited everyone! Staff were very warm and friendly, and definitely made the experience incredibly enjoyable.

Special shout out to Mini Club GOs - Lilyan, Simple, Chacha, Jeanette, Om, and Fenny who provided such amazing childcare to my son that he didn't want to leave the hotel, whether for an excursion or even to go home. We also had lovely service and really warm hospitality from Zella and Rebecca. Zella provided great cocktail recommendations, and Rebecca was super attentive and paid special attention to my mother and really made the trip a lovely memory.

One small downside (or upside? Depending on your perspective) is that the club is relatively empty during off-peak seasons, which is ideal if you like a more quiet holiday, but less ideal for some of the activities geared for adults. Definitely made me feel like bringing a huge group of friends along in my next visit!

No regrets and safe for solo female travellers

My first Club Med and I was sold by the photos on the ads, which did not lie. The grounds were beautiful as was the view of the mountains every day. Was blessed by good weather and the friendly GOs who took great care of the noob GM. I would qualify that I understand and am quite fluent in Mandarin which greatly helped with my enjoyment. It may be more challenging if you do not.

We had a wonderful stay at Club Med Lijiang and it was our first Club Med China experience. Kudos to Zaizai, Darren, Dylan, Jaybe, Cecily, Anda, Jaybe, Alicia and all the other GOs who has been working tirelessly everyday. The location are strategically located within the magnificent Jade Dragon Snow Mountain views and the interior of the deluxe rooms are so modern and cosy. Food & beverages including the bars are full of selection for all meals too. The 24h laundry facilities made our stay even more safe in hygiene and we loved the indoor water park with slides and zen pool facilities. We are looking forward to return to this property in the near future and keep it up the good work Club Med Lijiang ❤️

Vaccinations and preventive treatments...
It is your responsibility to check the necessary formalities before leaving for your holiday.

Vaccinations recommended:
Diphteria
Polio
Tetanus
Hepatitis A and B
Typhoid
Yellow fever (this vaccination is mandatory if you arrive in China from an area where yellow fever is endemic).

Meningitis A & C is recommended for regions closed to Mongolia.
Rabies and japanese encephalitus.

Mosquitos can transmit certain viruses and parasitic diseases, so you are strongly advised to use tropical mosquito repellents for skin and clothing.

Risk of the most dangerous form of malaria (falciparum) means that serious prevention is necessary (chemoprophylaxis and mosquito repellents).

As a preventive measure against bird flu, we recommend you avoid visting bird markets and zoos. Tap water in China is not drinking water; we recommend you drink mineral water.

The Resort has a nurse on site.

Our resort is located in a high-altitude area. Some customers, especially infants under 2 years old, may experience mild altitude sickness. To help you adapt to the environment safely and comfortably, we recommend that you avoid strenuous exercise and rest as much as possible on the first day of your arrival. Please drink warm sugar water in moderation and keep warm to guard against the cold. If you or any member of your family feels unwell, please consult infirmary and our teams are at your disposal.
