Cherating Beach Malaysia

初めてのマレーシア旅行でしたが、セーリングやカヤック、空中ブランコができたので、とても満喫しました。また、ティーンズクラブも楽しく遊び、友達ができました。歴史が長く、老朽化していて10月に閉じるという話は聞いていましたので、少しそれを感じてしまうところはありましたが、それは初日だけでした。それ以上にここでの遊び、踊り、泳ぎ、アクティビティ、全ての体験に心が満たされました。
本当に感謝しています。素晴らしい旅でした。これは現地のスタッフおよびGOたちのおかげです。なので、覚えている限りのスタッフらの名前をしたに書いておきます。感謝の気持ちです。というわけで、話を閉めます。

We recently spent a wonderful holiday at Club Med Cherating, and overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. If you're looking for a place to unwind without having to leave the resort, this is definitely one of the best destinations. The beautiful surroundings, all-inclusive concept, and wide range of activities make it an ideal getaway for families and couples alike.

Arrival & Hospitality ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Alex, whose friendliness and genuine hospitality immediately made us feel at home. His professionalism and cheerful attitude set a great first impression for our stay.

Our Room ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
We stayed in the interconnecting Sea Facing Rooms L2158 & L2159. The rooms were clean and equipped with all the basic amenities, except that room slippers were not provided.

Although the rooms were a little dated, they were well maintained and comfortable. The only drawback was the absence of a balcony or terrace. Having one would have made it even more enjoyable to sit back, relax, and admire the beautiful sea view.

One issue that definitely needs attention was the television in Room L2158. Throughout our stay, it was displaying what looked like we were watching the movie Shrek. (Please refer to the attached photos.) It should be repaired or replaced so future guests can enjoy proper TV entertainment.

Food & Beverages ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
One thing you never have to worry about at Club Med Cherating is food!
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and drinks are available throughout the day, offering a wide variety of international cuisines. There is truly something for everyone.

Among all the selections, I found the Indian cuisine to be the standout. The flavours were authentic, delicious, and consistently excellent. It was easily my favourite throughout the stay.

Desserts 🍰
The dessert selection was impressive, although having a wider variety would make it even better.

One small suggestion would be to cut fruits such as pineapple and watermelon into smaller bite-sized pieces. The current portions were quite large and not as convenient to enjoy.

Egg Station – A Disappointing Experience 😕
This was unfortunately the only negative experience during our stay. The chef at the egg station (the one wearing a beret) appeared unfriendly every morning. As a first-time guest, I genuinely did not know that I was supposed to collect the condiments before handing them over for my omelette. Instead of politely guiding me, the chef explained it in an unfriendly expression.

Honestly, nobody wants to be greeted with a long face first thing in the morning while on holiday.

Mr. Claytron, I hope you will also invest in customer service and public relations training for the kitchen staff—not just for the GOs and GEs. Great food should come with great hospitality.

Thankfully, this seemed to be an isolated incident. Every other chef we met—including those at the Malay and Indian food stations, as well as Chef Ong—were exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming. They truly reflected the excellent hospitality that Club Med is known for.

Sports & Activities ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
One of the highlights of our stay was the sports and recreational activities. The staff in charge of the various sports, especially tennis, trapeze, and other activity stations, were absolutely fantastic. They were energetic, approachable, patient, and always willing to help and encourage guests, regardless of their skill level. Their enthusiasm truly enhanced the overall Club Med experience and made every activity enjoyable.

Looking Forward to the New Club Med Cherating
I understand that Club Med Cherating will be undergoing a major renovation and will be be closed for approximately 18–24 months. After staying here, I completely agree that the resort is due for a significant makeover. While the resort's natural beauty and charm remain undeniable, many of the facilities have started to show their age. The front lobby area and Enak Restaurant, in particular, would greatly benefit from a comprehensive refurbishment to provide a more modern, welcoming, and comfortable experience for guests.

While the natural beauty of the location remains breathtaking, many of the facilities, guest rooms, and public areas have started to show their age. A comprehensive refurbishment will certainly elevate the overall guest experience and bring the resort up to the high standards expected of the Club Med brand.

Overall Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Despite a few minor issues, we genuinely had a fantastic stay at Club Med Cherating. The stunning natural surroundings, relaxing atmosphere, excellent food, and the hospitality from most of the staff made this a memorable holiday.

With a few improvements—especially the room facilities and consistency in customer service—Club Med Cherating would easily deserve a perfect five-star experience.

Aside from the room not being cold enough, everything else was excellent. The staff responded promptly, the G.O. team was friendly, and the birthday celebration for my partner made our stay memorable.

It was really special experience for my family in club med. My kids also want to visit here again. they were really enjoyed and fun together with other friends. even though facilities were somehow older, all looks clean and well arranged. all staffs and GOs are really kind and positive. for me, especially, during night time, there were several activities and we could join and enjoy together with all other families. thanks for giving me a chance to enjoy... my family strongly want to visit there again wherever club med is.

Winning Club Med formula and kids particularly loved the towable tour (being pulled over the water an inflatable by a jet ski) which, although extra, was such fun and done by a very. Resort itself is a bit tired and the bedrooms, in particular, are in much need of an overhaul as are tired and very dated. Still, great food, lots of fun for everyone and great facilities.
