Cherating Beach Malaysia

Teens club is so fun and Angela was so kind and I loved all the activities the we did I especially loved swimming and kayaking.

We stayed with Club Med Cherating December 27th - January 2nd 2026. As a family of five (2 adults and 3 children) we welcomed in the New Year here and fully enjoyed the whole experience. My children were particularly impressed with the whole trapeze team for their kindness and talent; as well as Angela at the Teenage Club for her patience and engagement with the teens. I would definitely recommend this resort.

We’ve just returned from our second stay at Club Med Cherating, and once again, the **incredible G.O. team—led brilliantly by Clayton, the Chief of Village—**made the entire experience exceptional. Clayton’s warm leadership and presence set the tone for the whole resort, and it truly shows in the energy and dedication of every G.O. we met.
A massive thank‑you to the wonderful team who made our holiday unforgettable: Elaine, Zol, Bobby, Sopie, and Cathrine from the trapeze team; Wafi, Umai, and Angela from the Mini & Teens Club, who took amazing care of the kids; and the ever‑welcoming bar crew — Yoyo, Chloe, Charo, Cleo, and Andy — who always greeted us with smiles and great service.
We also had an amazing time with Iwan and the sailing team, who turned every moment on the water into a fun, safe, and memorable experience.
From the activities and nightly shows to the kids’ programs and the overall vibe of the village, everything was top‑notch—just as we remembered from our first visit. Club Med Cherating continues to be one of the best family getaways we’ve ever experienced.
One small suggestion: the smoking area near the main entrance should be relocated, as many families and children pass through that space and end up exposed to secondhand smoke.
Other than that, everything was wonderful.
We’ll definitely be back — highly recommended for families looking for a fun, relaxing, and welcoming holiday!

We were initially worried about the weather for the trip but we were fortunate to only have light rain on a few occasions. The room was dated but clean and to be honest there is so much to do and so many other areas to relax in, we rarely spent a huge amount of time in the room apart from sleeping! The trapeze experience was fantastic. Circus chief Elaine, and her team Zol, Bobby, Sopie and Catherine were wonderful with encouragement and keeping us safe. CDV Clayton also lent me a pair of trapeze grips to keep me flying on the harder tricks. I particularly enjoyed the evening events and shows performed by the G.O.’s. Many thanks to Dee, JJ, Fanta, Neo, Cammy, VicQi, and Khuzy for hanging out with us at lunch and dinner and just making the stay so memorable.
