Tignes France

Ski-in location for one of the world's greatest ski fields. This enormous full-board all-inclusive resort runs like clockwork. All-day ski lessons with ESF, excellent ski hire, most rooms with unbeatable view. Only downside is that with 1000 guests to cater for you essentially have cafeteria fare (think overcooked veg and freezer-pack mini pastries) rather than the joy of French cooking.

Our family of eight, spanning three generations, recently stayed at Club Med Tignes, and it was one of the most special holidays we have ever had.

Travelling with our two boys aged 3 and 8, along with grandparents on both sides, we hoped for a ski trip that would genuinely cater to everyone. From the moment we arrived, the quality of the hotel was clear. The design is fresh, stylish, and perfectly suited to its mountain setting, blending luxury with comfort. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and extremely comfortable. My wife and I stayed in an Exclusive Collection suite, and the balcony view each morning was breathtaking. Sitting with a coffee and taking in the mountains quickly became a favourite ritual. The private boot room made getting ready seamless, even with a large family, and the concierge team were always on hand to help.

A special mention must go to our room attendant, Abdullah. He was exceptional, going out of his way to make our children feel special. Seeing the joy that brought him made our experience even more meaningful. These personal touches truly elevate a holiday.

The service across the resort was consistently outstanding. Staff in the bars and restaurants were attentive, friendly, and proactive, always ensuring our group was comfortable. The food was exceptional all week, with great variety and quality. Dinner on the final night felt like a true celebration.

One of the most memorable aspects was seeing every generation embrace skiing. My parents learned for the first time, which was incredibly special to witness. Our eldest thrived in Mini Club, waking up excited for lessons, and skiing together as a family on the final day was a proud moment. Our youngest attended Petit Club and took part in the learn to ski course, which he loved so much it was hard to get him inside each afternoon.

We experienced everything the mountains could offer, from heavy snowfall midweek to beautiful bluebird skies and even perfect powder. Despite the snowfall, there were always slopes open, allowing us to ski every day.

What made this holiday truly special was not just the hotel, food, or skiing, but the shared experience. Watching our children laugh with their grandparents in the snow, seeing everyone try something new, and enjoying relaxed dinners together created memories we will treasure forever. Club Med Tignes delivered for all generations, and we cannot wait to return.

Great layout, food, location and entertainment.
Only disappointment was the Ski school. Their Group levels are different to every other ski CM we have been to.
3A now is compulsary 50% offpiste.
3B ended up, after the level rankings ski off, included people that could parallel but not carve. We were told this was the same level as 3A, just onpiste. This ended up with the group mainly snaking down pistes slowly behind the instructor the whole week. Half the group mutinied on day 4 so we got some skiing done.
With 300kms of piste runs to use and explore, you would think they would have a group for confident fast carvers, but apparently not.

Excellent second trip to Club Med Tignes, stayed with a friend in the 5T space again on floor seven next to the bar. Staff were extremely helpful and everything ran very smoothly.
Food in the main restaurant very good and the access to the first ski lift is literally outside the ski room.
All in all highly recommended
